Cryofacial™

What is a Cryofacial™?

CryoFacials are a totally new concept. A CryoFacial harnesses the power of super-cooled nitrogen vortex gas flow to stimulate collagen production, tighten wrinkles, reduce pore size and bring blood flow back to the regions of your face. CryoFacials are a pain free treatment, stimulating many anti-aging benefits in a completely non-invasive procedure.

At Ventua Cryo we've purchased state-of-the-art equipment allowing us to safely and effectively apply localized cryotherapy to the face, even eyelids without damage to the skin. In fact, we rejuvenate your thin eyelid skin as we go. There is probably no other facial treatment that can do so much so fast as a cryofacial. Of course, this isn't a silver bullet, you still must keep your skin healthy, hydrated, and moisturized, however with cryofacials in your arsenal it will change what you see in the mirror and others will immediately notice the difference. How about a healthier happier and younger looking you?

  • Pain Relief
Can Whole Body CryoTherapy Help Me Deal With Chronic Pain? Chronic Pain is no fun. Living with constant pain isn't living a fulfilled life. Yes, adversity builds character, but how much more character do you really need at this point in your life? Just a couple of sessions of Whole Body CryoTherapy per week will significantly reduce pain. Sure, one can learn to tolerate pain and build up a high threshold, or take expensive and highly addictive pain medicine, but since empirical evidence and research shows Whole Body CryoTherapy works, isn't it time you switched back to a pain free you? Don't hesitate, be great. How Does CryoTherapy Reduce Pain? CryoTherapy reduces nerve conduction velocity (NCV), allowing the individual to maintain a higher pain threshold (PTH) and better paint tolerance (PTO). Since your brain doesn't receive the signals of pain at a high level, it sends less reinforcement to the area causing inflammation. Inflammation causes more tenderness and pain, and the cycle continues, so by breaking this cycle, your body can heal without the pain or over-abundance of inflammation during the process. Whole Body CryoTherapy tends to be a much better solution than pain medication; (1) It is not addicting; and (2) The nerve endings are only temporarily muted, long enough to prevent near term reoccurring inflammation. Although, the theory behind each method is somewhat similar, it's always better to use natural ways to get your body to a better place than to use synthetic pharmaceuticals to unnaturally trick your body into reacting in a certain way, especially when there are additional side effects to deal with. • Detoxofication
Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Help Remove Toxins and Detoxify The Body? Look, no matter how careful we are, our bodies encounter toxins in our environment; chemicals, pollution, insect bites, alcohol, processed foods, pesticides. In fact, it's almost inescapable. Luckily, our bodies are very good at getting rid of these toxins when everything is working optimally. Your immune system is the army guarding your castle (body) and once it is put on alert, it springs into action. How Does CryoTherapy Help With Detoxification? Whole Body CryoTherapy is a very short-term attack on the body, extreme cold, so your body automatically goes into defense mode, hyper-driving your immune system. Once your body goes into protection mode, it is out to fight off any and all existing intruders. So how does this work you ask? Well, your body has antioxidants, and with Whole Body CryoTherapy (3-minute sessions, 2-times per week) the total antioxidant status (TAS) increases. Whole Body CryoTherapy 'significantly' increases the activity of enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and main non-enzymatic antioxidant - uric acid in blood plasma. When your blood is working at optimum, it does its magic cleaning up your system of the toxins (intruders) in your body (castle). CryoTherapy and Cryo-Stimulation of your immune system is a key detoxifying your castle. Cited Research: (1) https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00421-011-2122-x
  • Weight Loss
Is It True That Whole Body CryoTherapy Helps With Weight Loss? A single 3-minute Whole Body CryoTherapy session burns 500-800 calories (depending on your height, age, and weight) as it works to heat your body back up. Luckily, your body continues a similar number of additional calories for another 24-hours (research on post calorie burn varies greatly, some research only could prove 1/2 that amount). This is the same number of calories that a hardcore anaerobic workout of more than 1 hour would burn. Now then, we do not believe and would never recommend that Whole Body CryoTherapy should be used as a substitute for a healthy diet and smart exercise routine. Rather, we see a healthy lifestyle coupled with 2-3 CryoTherapy sessions each week as a big win for the future you. ing our body converting areas with white fat cells (generally bulking up around abdomen) to brown fat cells (the good kind). • Burn Calories
Why Does a CryoTherapy Session Burn So Many Calories? When your surface body temperature is rapidly cooled, your body starts to shiver and rush in blood to warm it back up. Immediately however, your body realizes it is extremely cold so it moves to protect your most important organs. Then when you get out of the CryoTherapy sauna, your body says; "oh my gosh, glad that's over with, and then works to rewarm your entire body, so the blood rushes back to the cold skin areas throughout your body. This takes a lot of energy, and your body has to go burn calories to do that, to get the heat. This also takes time, so even after you take the cold completely away the body continues to work to bring all areas of the body back up to the right temperature. Your brain doesn't forget that your body experienced this extreme cold and will not signal the body to shut down the re-warming process. Since your body will not take any risks, it just keeps burning the calories for up to 24-hours. This means you can burn anywhere from 500-800 calories during and right after the Whole Body CryoTherapy session, and again that much (although empirical research on this varies in number of calories) during the following time 24 more hours. Nice, yes?
  • How Does CryoTherapy Burn Calories?
Adults create new brown fat cells which are needed in maintaining weight and weight loss. Our white fat cells store up excess calories, and usually found around our middle body. Our brown fat cells heat us up which means burning calories at fast pace. When we are in the CryoTherapy sauna our body says; "oh no, we need to heat back up," and it goes into hyperdrive due to shivering as our muscles twitch. Our bodies also react to non-shivering thermogenesis so it tries to adapt itself to such exposure to promote future fat burning. This changes our white fat cell and brown fat cell ratios, and that is a very healthy thing, especially in this era of high percentages of diabetes in our population. • Better Sleep
How will Whole Body CryoTherapy Help Me Sleep Better? It turns out that Whole Body CryoTherapy allows your body to create certain hormones that affect your hippocampus allowing for smoother sleep patterns. These hormones and hormonal changes in turn affect relaxation and sleep in a positive way. Whole Body CryoTherapy also creates easier blood flow throughout the body, as the body works to get the blood everywhere to warm it back up. When you have better blood flow, your body has a lower heartbeat resting rate, allowing you to easily stay in delta and theta brainwave states, which makes for great dreams and great sleep, uneventful sleep cycles, thus, a rested feeling when you wake up. If you take pain medication, you know it often has side effects of disrupting sleep. When using Whole Body CryoTherapy you eliminate these issues. CryoTherapy also is known for preventing depression, less worry means less stress, less stress means sounder sleep. This is because Whole Body CryoTherapy inhibits cortisol, a stress hormone which can disrupt your healthy blood sugar and sleep patterns.
  • Other Reasons Why WBC helps Me Sleep Better At Night?
There are several other claims as to why Whole Body CryoTherapy can help you achieve a good night's sleep and individuals who swear by CryoTherapy also have their suspicions of why it works so well. Some attribute the endorphin rush after a CryoTherapy session with mellowing your mood, allowing for better sleep - who knows? Could be. There just isn't enough empirical data and actual research on this topic yet to prove any of it. Luckily, our top notched Sleep Research Centers like Stanford Sleep Research are considering proposing studies to quantify the effects of Whole Body CryoTherapy on sleep. As future research proves or disproves these theories with quantifiable and empirical evidence we will be the first to let you know. Meanwhile, you have to see for yourself, and tell us why you sleep better after a Whole Body CryoTherapy session. • Reduced Inflammation
How Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Reduce Inflammation? We all know that when we put ice on the skin's surface after an injury the swelling goes down. We also know that this speeds up healing for a faster recovery. This is because the ice is very cold and constricts blood vessels, and with less blood flow to the area, which is the body's response when something goes wrong, the blood is carrying inflammatory properties to protect, which causes tenderness, and a little more pain to add insult to injury. Whole Body CryoTherapy (WBCT) is basically doing the same thing as the ice pack on an injury, but it gets even better than that due to the way Cryo works and how it is applied in a Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna. Interestingly enough, often people who look fat, aren't as overweight as they look rather they are bloated with inflammation. Thus, inflammation reduction will appear to look like a drastic reduction in fat ratio. Getting rid of the inflammation is one of the most important things you can do to take back your health. Chronic inflammation can cause disease. Why Is WBCT Superior For Reducing Inflammation? WBCT triggers the release of norepinephrine which is the body's anti-inflammatory mechanism. With norepinephrine present in areas of inflammation, there will be a reduction in shorter-term pain. WBCT also puts your body into defense mode due to the rapid cooling which increases white blood cell counts and immune cells, which in turn attacks bad bacteria, viruses and even the factors that allow for tumor growth. WBCT also increases superoxide dismutase and glutathione antioxidants which optimizes liver function. The reduction of chronic low pain inflammation is a very good thing as such inflammation is a sign of poor health. Breaking this cycle with Whole Body CryoTherapy is like a 'reset' for your body, and gives your body a chance to start over. You will notice a real change and feeling of well-being, more energy, less stress, and you will feel healthy - because you are healthier. • Younger Looking Skin
Why Does My Skin Look Younger Now That I've Been Using a Whole Body CyroTherapy Sauna On a Regular Basis? Well, thank you for this question, and to answer your question quickly, there are a couple of reasons. First, Whole Body CyroTherapy helps your body produce collagen. As we age our collagen levels do go down, so increasing this level is a good idea. Collagen is the protein that keeps our skin looking young. Secondly, when you are in a CyroTherapy sauna, the blood vessels near the surface contract from the cold. When you get out, your blood rushes back in order to heat your body back up, this exercises near surface blood vessels allowing your body to deliver nutrients. As these blood vessels strengthen they are there to help your skin stay in a nutrient rich flow. Does Whole Body Cryo Help With Hair and Nails Too? Yes, it certainly does. And rightfully, you've deduced that since the protein collagen is responsible for healthy hair and nails too, Whole Body Cryo (WBC) therefore revitalizes here also. WBC inhibits anti-collagen (collagenases) enzymes that break down the peptide bonds in collagen. Since Collagen is found in bones, tendons, cartilage, joints, blood vessels, and digestive system, you can understand why it's so important in our bodies. With the skin, it replaced dead skin cells, and strengthens skin elasticity. • Muscle Soreness
How Can Whole Body Reduce Muscle Soreness and Faster Recovery Times for Intense Workouts? When you do a strenuous work out or over use under developed muscle groups at work or doing some task at home your body has an inflammatory response. This is perfectly natural as it is your body sends in nutrients to repair the micro-tears, slightly damaged muscle tissue. In repairing your muscles they become stronger for the next time you use them. Of course, in the process you experience soreness in these muscles. Athletes often call this a 'good soreness' because it isn't soreness from an injury like a sprain or joint pain or any long term damage. Athletes know this is a passing phase, part of the whole "no pain, no gain" motif. They accept it. The muscles typically are very sore during the pro-inflammatory response. Eventually, your body sends in the anti-inflammatory "cytokines" to balance out and ensure your immune system doesn't go into runaway mode. It's best to wait an hour or more before Whole Body CryoTherapy session as you want your body to go through the peak of the inflammation process. It is fine to wait a day or more afterwards, just do not use the CryoSauna before one-two hours, as it might negate much of what you gained during your workout. Some endurance elite athletes whose bodies are extremely good at the muscle building process wait 48-hours after a major event. And, not to 'over sell' Whole Body CryoTherapy, but are you beginning to see why the top competitors and elite athletes are 'ALL IN' when it comes to embracing the benefits, and highly recommending the use of a Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna? • Joint Discomfort
Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Help In Reducing Joint Pain? Yes, very much so, in fact, even Chiropractors are recommending CryoTherapy for this reason. It's amazing how many people opt for knee, hip, and back surgery, sure some of these surgeries are inevitable as we age, but not all. If your joints are not warn out yet, and if you want to prevent them from getting warn out, there are some benefits to Whole Body CryoTherapy that make a lot of sense to keep your joints healthy. Besides, just because you start taking on bionic parts doesn't mean all your problems will be solved. I hope you are not considering replacing all the joints in your body, my Gosh have you any idea how many there are? How Does CyroTherapy Help Joint Health? Whole Body CyroTherapy helps induce a protein (collagen) which builds up cartilage while slowing and inhibiting the anti-collagen (collangenase) enzyme which breaks down collagen. Strong joints and muscle attachment points are all part of the skeletal muscle system and areas of soreness when we over stress ourselves in intensive workouts or activities. By building up cartilage and strengthening joints, your body's natural movements will be pain free and can take more abuse, lift more weight and move with ease without deteriorating rapidly as you age. If your joints hurt, it may simply be your body telling you that your collagen levels are not what they used to be in your youth. No need to start smoking medical marijuana to reduce the discomfort. No need to start taking daily pain medication which has its own set of addiction problems or go and roll a joint for joint pain. What you'll find in Whole Body CryoTherapy is a happier, healthier, pain free you - ask anyone who goes in for regular sessions. • Blood Circulation
Will Whole Body CryoTherapy Help My Blood Circulation and Lower My Resting Heart Rate (RHR)? Well of course, anytime you improve your blood circulation it will typically lower your Resting Heart Rate. Does Whole Body CryoTherapy (WBCT) increase blood circulation more than taking let's say a daily Ginseng (Panax) supplement? No, it's probably about the same. Still, this is an added benefit for WBCT that many do not consider. And to the point of supplements VS WBCT, why not do both? This way your body's system is naturally working better and your blood is working better within that system too. But, How Des WBCT Help Blood Circulation? It's simple really. When you are in the CryoSauna, your body is dealing with the rapid changes of cold immersion, and it goes into crisis mode constricting the blood vessels close to the surface, and starts sending blood to the vital organs and brain. When you get out, your body now knows everything is okay and rushes the blood back to warm the body up all over forcing those constricted blood vessels back to full potential. This is exercising your blood vessels as they are constricted and then forced back to full capacity - it is in this process of cold to warm that strengthens your blood circulation system. Just like an athlete strengthens their body through exercise in the same way. The cells in your blood circulatory system will respond accordingly. So, you shouldn't be surprised to find that your blood circulation improves and that your resting heart rate goes down over time with regular WBCT sessions. • Shorter Recovery Times for Extreme Exercise
How Can Standing In a Whole Body CyroTherapy Sauna Freezing My Butt Off for 3-minutes Help Improve My Recovery Time After Competition Or Extreme Work Outs? Ha ha ha, well, we want to thank our future customer and local semi-pro athlete for asking this question and well, also for putting it so bluntly. Suffice it to say, your buttocks will still be there after a 3-minute session. And, if you have a 'pain in the butt' it probably be all but gone after you get out of the Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna. Here is why. After a maximum athletic effort, whether it be a marathon,50K trail run, cycling a century (100-miles), triathlon, or hell week football training your body's muscles are sore from micro-tears. Your body sends in help in the form of nutrients (amino acids and muscle building molecules) and pro-inflammatory support. Your body's anti-inflammatory mechanism cannot keep up, and it will take a while to heal. Unfortunately, if you are too sore to move, the chances of continuing to reinforce your new athletic plateau of performance with another workout is unsustainable. Besides most of the healing is done in the first hour after the maximum effort (this is why protein drinks are recommended directly after a workout) and then within 24-48 hours. You can't just sit on your "toushy buns" (butt) for a whole week lest you lose all that you've gained. Best to get to the CryoTherapy Sauna, alleviate the pain so you can go at it hard again. Don't be a chicken, it's only 3-minutes. And mind you, you don't have to be an elite athlete to enjoy the benefits of shorter recovery times. Anyone who pushes their limits feels the same pain and thus incurs the same challenges. In fact, the only way to break through to the next level of your fitness requires consistency and a little pain. Using a CryoTherpay sauna helps you reduce that pain, so you get "more pain for less gain" - just sayin' Is There Any Proof That Whole Body Cryo Helps Shorten Recovery Time For Work Outs And Training? Well, we always like to say, come see for yourself, but if you want empirical evidence, and want to know if there are such research studies available, they are numerous. We all know that an ice bath of 30-minutes helps marathoners, football players, boxers, cyclists and track stars recover faster, and we know that CryoTherapy session of 3-minutes does essentially the same thing in a different way, and the cost is about the same by the time you buy bags of ice to cool the temperature down low enough in a tub to actually help you. Okay, But How Does This Actually Work? CryoTherapy decreases levels of creatine kinase well below that of passive recovery, which helps repair muscle fiber, thus, adding to recovery with just one session. Studies also showed a decrease in inflammatory cytokines while showing an increase in anti-flammatory cytokines compared to those who merely roughed it out. These studies were done by measuring the markers of inflammation flood into the system. Coming in and enjoy a CryoTherapy Saund within 24-48 hours of an extreme athletic activity -- one where your muscles are sore from micro tears and have damage -- to alleviate pain, speed up recovery, and allow you to go back and do it again. The ability to tear down and build up repeating the cycle faster than you could ever do by simply going for a passive recovery means you become stronger, faster and better at all you do. • Rheumatoid Arthritis
Can Whole Body CryoTherapy Help Me Live A Healthy Lifestyle Even If I have Arthritis? Arthritis kills our quality of life, constant pain just doing normal easy tasks takes its toll on our psyche and keeps up from living, but it doesn't have to be that way. Did you know that CryoTherapy was originally used to help patients with rheumatoid arthritis? Doctor Yamaguchi in the late 70's began with freezing temperature in short-time durations on the surface of the skin (CryoTherapy) to help his patients deal with the pain of arthritis. Without the extreme pain patients were able to manage a milder pain and easily tolerate it, often for days between treatments. Today, a modern Whole Body CyroTherapy sauna can deliver nearly 8-10 times colder temperatures to the whole body all at once. This alleviates the chronic inflammation in the joints, allowing the body to reset, while also increasing the collagen protein in the body. Many CryoTherapy believers tell how it's been 'life-changing' for them. No longer having to avoid their favorite activities or being stuck and immobilized by pain. Some folks have even been able to ditch their pain medications altogether along with their other arthritis drugs. How Does CryoTherapy Do That? It is known that CryoTherapy helps induce the collagen protein, which helps in strengthening bones, joints, tendons and cartilage. It's also known that CryoTherapy helps to reduce inflammation - chronic inflammation is responsible for much of the pain suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. We know that CryoTherapy helps produce anti-oxidants in the blood, something else those with rheumatoid arthritis lack in capacity. It's hard to say exactly why it works so well or why those who have arthritis swear by Whole Body CryoTherapy. We do know that it lowers the histamine reactions in the body. Research is still on-going, but when a 75-year old who has arthritis can go out and play tennis again with friends, something is up. It's not a coincidence. One clinical research study showed noticeable improvement with between 1-3 cryotherapy sessions and after 10-15 sessions patients told of retreating symptoms and a drastic reduction in pain. When coupled with physical therapy a few patients were able to ditch their wheel chairs, while all noted improved ease of movement. These results continued for 6-months after the therapy. Ask your doctor if you should try Whole Body CryoTherapy, maybe you can get off those meds too? • Fibromyalgia
Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Really Reduce Pain Associated With Fibromyalgia? In 2000 there was a study in Germany involving 120 people that had rheumatoid arthritis, 45% of them with fibroyalgia - most all experienced reduced pain. That's proof enough. Many believe there is not enough evidence to empirically prove it, but people in pain know the pain they feel or don't. While the FDA has not specifically 'approved' cryotherapy for fibromyalgia treatment, and warns citizens of potential false claims being made, those who've used cryotherapy tell of reduced pain and other benefits for their fibro. Several fibromyalgia online groups also have people talking about their personal journeys with fibro and how cryotherapy has changed their lives. It could take years, maybe even a decade for the FDA to recognize whole body cryotherapy as a viable treatment to curtail the pain associated with fibromyalgia. I suppose you could live with all that pain until then, your choice. Nearly all of the most common symptoms of fibromyalgia are reduced when cryotherapy is used on someone without the condition. Chronic Pain, pain intolerance, sleep disorders, depressed mood, swelling and inflammation, sore muscles and tendons, musculo-skeletal pain, itchy skin and whole body soreness, and chronic fatigue are all things that cryotherapy is suited for, in fact at first glance one might say cryotherapy is made for fibromyalgia patients. You see, Whole Body CryoTherapy reduces inflammation, increases collagen, gives you an endorphin rush, boosts the immune system, activates anti-stress hormones, and causes increases in anti-oxidants in the blood. Each of these benefits solves one or more of the symptom problems associated with fibromyalgia. All together it makes sense to anyone except a pharmaceutical company with a patented and high-priced fibromyalgia medication. This isn't an anti-FDA statement, just an observation. You will have to be the final judge and try Whole Body CryoTherapy for yourself. We can't promise you it works, only that others with fibro swear by it. • Osteoporosis
Can Whole Body CryoTherapy Help With Osteoporosis? The bones in our body are constantly breaking down and building back up again. When they don't build back up as fast as they break down, we call that osteoporosis and it can be quite debilitating and serious. As we age these issues can become more prevalent, of course genetics are also a factor. Thyroid problems, low calcium and vitamin D also contribute to bone loss, as well as lack of exercise, use of alcohol and smoking. Chronic inflammation can be a big culprit in bone loss as the body reabsorbs existing bone. It therefore makes sense that Whole Body CryoTherapy can prevent and treat osteoporosis due to its known benefits. In fact, that is what the Cryo Community has come to learn. Is There Any Tangible Clinical Evidence That Whole Body CryoTherapy Can Treat Or Cure Osteoporosis? Yes, indeed a Polish research study done in 1998 shows that Whole Body CryoTherapy treatment; 2-sessions a day (with 3-hours in between) for 2-6 weeks treats Osteoporosis. The research states that the CryoTherapy works by reducing pain and swelling, while increasing strength and relaxing skeletal muscles, and increasing the range of motion of joints. The main advantage in CryoTherapy to other treatments is quickerr time to complete treatment, that and the speed at which the patient notices the differences and progress, thus also psychologically helping the process. The clinical research finally notes that rarely does CryoTherapy not work in the treatment of osteoporosis, or in its symptoms and is therefore highly recommended. • Multiple Sclerosis
Can Whole Body CryoTherapy Slow Down Or Treat The Effects Of Multiple Sclerosis? Well, it turns out that since Multiple Sclerosis (MS) symptoms are greatly reduced with Whole Body CryoTherapy (WBCT). This is because WBCT disrupts the inflammation process so the pain is reduced temporarily as the body resets itself. Once temporarily reset MS appears in regression. Some recommend a two-week treatment (twice a day, 3-hour intervals) every 6-months to try to prevent the onset of a reoccurrence of hard-hitting debilitating issues from MS. Since Whole Body CryoTherapy disrupts the inflammation process it therefore makes sense for a short-term reliever of symptoms, resetting the body. In fact, one research study showed a result in "positive antioxidant effects of WBCT as a short-term help in treatment for patients suffering from MS." Modern medicine still doesn't know all it needs to determine what causes MS or how to cure it, but it appears that Whole Body CryoTherapy might serve as a nice stop gap for those who suffer from MS, perhaps temporarily limiting its effect on their lifestyle due to symptom flare-ups or relapses in condition. It's great to know the value of WBCT for those afflicted with MS. Another interesting link is how CryoTherapy induces an endorphin rush as endorphins are a chemical that is good for our central nervous system and brain, which are also places that MS causes our bodies to attack. • Chronic Pain Syndrome
Will Whole Body CryoTherapy Help With Chronic Pain Syndrome? We've often heard the banter amongst athletes and those with alpha male syndrome as they shout "No Pain, No Gain" as a 'rite of passage' to manhood. We all know it's mostly bravado, but we also know there is a little truth to it, in that to build muscle you must first tear it down so it can repair itself and grow stronger. But, what if the pain never went away? What if the pain lasted 3-months or more? When it does we call it chronic pain and when it happens about one-quarter of those folks are actually afflicted with a medical condition, a serious one called; Chronic Pain Syndrome (CPS) and yes, it is a real thing. Now then, chronic pain and chronic pain syndrome (CPS) are not the same. In temporary acute pains such as injuries, muscle pain, or temporary joint pains, they are easily curtailed by interfering in the body's inflammation process. CPS eventually leads to 'pain memory', disrupted sleep, depression, and an on-going cycle which manifests itself into a permanent condition. Many with CPS turn to pain medications, and we all know that pain meds unfortunately come with adverse side effects. One session for Whole Body CryoTherapy will not stop CPS, but it will temporarily put you in a good mood and you'll find yourself without pain temporarily. For some it is possible overtime and regular sessions to retrain your brain and 'pain memory'. By keeping the pain at bay and the inflammation down with regular visits your pain threshold will embolden and you can overcome future minor pain without relapse. Since CPS also disrupts your sleep and since Whole Body CryoTherapy helps you sleep better you will have more energy and stamina to shake off the pain, and over the course of weeks and many sessions you will feel much better than even before your CPS condition started. At least that's what regular users of Whole Body CryoTherapy say who've experienced what you are going through now. Whole Body CryoTherapy can and will potentially change your life, no more pain. You will be better than you ever knew possible. This gives you an advantage, as adversity builds character and you've been through more with your CPS than most people could ever imagine in their worst nightmares. You have more character and just think what you can do once your pain is gone? • Tinnitus
Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Reduce Tinnitus Severity? No one knows why Whole Body CryoTherapy has an effect in treating or in a small number of cases curing tinnitus, however, let's speculate on how this might be possible. Not all but some tinnitus is caused by inflammation and infection. Whole Body CryoTherapy is known to reduce inflammation. Once the inflammation is controlled in this case the tinnitus condition would be resolved. In one type of tinnitus, Pulsatile Tinnitus, caused by blood circulation issues, or vascular problems, there have been good results. Perhaps because Whole Body CryoTherapy increases blood circulation, you can see why it might affect a tinnitus patient's condition in a positive way. Is There Any Proof Or Scientific Evidence That Whole Body CryoTherapy Helps With Tinnitus? Well, yes, there was Polish study involving 120 patients with bad tinnitus conditions. The research noted a small percentage of patients with tinnitus, about 3% had eliminated the condition entirely, with nearly 20% showing a decrease in severity, and 9% able to deal with and manage their tinnitus after a 10-day cryotherapy plan, coupled with 45-minutes of movement after the sessions. • Euphoric Feeling
One thing that is universally agreed on when it comes to Whole Body CryoTherapy is that once you leave the CryoTherapy Sauna, an incredible feeling of euphoria comes over you. It's like a runner's high, and it is very similar because it is caused by the rush of endorphins. Many athletes have likened it to the feeling after an adrenaline rush, and some say it's as good as that post orgasmic feeling. It's also rather interesting that there is so much information on the euphoric feeling in the CryoTherapy science literature. One paper states that when an individual leaves a CryoTherapy Sauna or Chamber there is an immediate "improvement of mood, deep relaxation, freshening up, consolation, and euphoria." Some say that the euphoric feeling is greater the first few times you use the Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna. Once you get used to it, there is not the endorphin rush as you get when you first start. Still, long-time users do report the feeling of well-being is always present, but hold short in saying they still feel overwhelming euphoria. Of course, these seasoned users don't go in for the short-term endorphin rush, these users do it for specific health, lifestyle, and athletic goals. • Increases Basal Metabolic Rate
How Does Whole Body CryoTherapy Increase Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)? It goes without saying that rapid cooling of the body's surface causes blood vessels to constrict as the body goes into protection mode, and then once out of the Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna the blood rushes back to heat up those areas. No doubt this action increases metabolism. Now then, with continued regular use of Whole Body CryoTherapy sauna sessions the body will strengthen its immune system and blood delivery system. This will elevate your body's long-term Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Now then, why is an elevated BMR desirable? Well BMR is your base daily calorie burn before you do much of anything, just existing without workouts. If your base is 1500 calories, then you burn that amount automatically. If you increase your BMR you burn more calories each day. Certainly you will burn more calories warming your body up after a CryoTherapy sauna session, but that is just one day. What about the rest of the year? If you can raise your BMR you will burn more calories, you can burn more calories by burning them more efficiently. Let's discuss that for a minute. Increasing your BMR means you burn fat quicker, your body heals itself faster, and you are more efficient with energy as you demand it from your body. Increasing your BMR isn't difficult; you can do it through a selective diet and high-intensity exercise, and/or get your system better at energy conversion and direct that energy where you need it quickly. The latter is where Whole Body CryoTherapy comes into play. It is interesting to note that a single 3-minute session of Whole Body CryoTherapy will burn as many calories during and after as a high-intensity anaerobic work out. If you build more muscle in your body you will find it takes more calories to sustain it. You can build muscle through intense work outs. You can do harder workers with faster recovery times back-to-back when you use Whole Body CryoTherapy as part of your strategy. As your body replaces white fat with brown fat, it will take more energy to keep your body warm, thus you'll burn more calories in doing so. Suffice it to say there are many ways Whole Body CryoTherapy will increase your BMR. Cited Research: (1) https://journals.viamedica.pl/endokrynologia_polska/article/view/25653
